Nominations are being accepted until September 15th for the Olds & District Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Small Business Awards.

Murray Elliott, Chair of the Small Business Awards, highlights the fact that you can download the nomination forms on the website oldsalberta.com. He says “we have a number of awards: we have the President’s award, Business of the Year award, People’s Choice, Youth Employee of the Year, Best New Business, Innovation award, and the Community Spirit award. So they are all explained on the website. It is not honorous. It only takes a few minutes to fill out, but obviously there is very worthy considerations in our community.”

The award nominees for this year will be announced on September 24th at the Chamber’s annual Business, Beer and Blue Jeans event on the Olds College campus at the Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre.

The Small Business Awards Gala is slated for October 23rd at the Olds Royal Canadian Legion.
