Jamie Laboucane claims 2025 Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship

As heard on 96.5 The Ranch, Jamie Laboucane and his Wild Rows Pump & Compression Ltd. outfit won the 2025 Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship on Sunday afternoon.

The 39-year-old from St. Walburg, Saskatchewan got around the track in the final heat in time of 1.:17.05.

High River’s Jason Glass was second in 1:17.17 in his Birchcliff Energy Ltd. wagon, Kris Molle from Chauvin was third in 1:21.28 in his Benoit Oilfield Construction (1997) Ltd. outfit, and Kurt Bensmiller from Dewberry was fourth in 1:24.26 in his Heart Lake First Nation Construction/Location Cats chuckwagon.

Chanse Vigen from Calgary posted the fastest time on Day 4 in Bonnyville with a 1:16.34 in his Kudo Energy outfit.

Laboucane also made it into the winner’s circle early last season as he was victorious at the opening event in 2024 – the Grande Prairie Stompede.

96.5 The Ranch is the radio broadcast home of the 2025 WPCA Pro Tour and more coverage is coming up this week with the Medicine Hat Stampede running from Thursday, June 12th through Sunday, June 15th.
