Jason Glass breaks out on night one of WPCA racing in Grande Prairie

High River’s Jason Glass and his Birchcliff Energy Ltd. wagon finished with the fastest time of the night for the opening evening of W-P-C-A racing at the Grande Prairie Stompede.

Jamie Laboucane from St. Walburg, Saskatchewan and Wild Rows Pump & Compression (1:15.69) came in second to Glass (1:15.68) – by one one hundredth of a second. Luke Tournier from Duck Lake, Saskatchewan and Pidherney’s (1:15.72), Preston Faithful from Frog Lake First Nation, Alberta and Sundown Oilfield Services Ltd. (1:15.91) rounded out the top four on night one.

Night two of the season opening event gets underway at 7pm on 96.5 The Ranch and you can listen live to all of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association excitement from G.P. right through until Sunday night.
