The Surrounded in Support run for charity is coming up next month.
President Sheree Andrews with Essentials for our Community Didsbury highlights the fact that participants for the event can stretch their legs for the 5 kilometer family fun run in any way that they see fit be it run, walk, skip, etc. She says “you can do whatever you want. You can create a team, you can have fun. There are prizes. So the top prize for whoever can raise the most money with their pledges is a weekend away at the Best Western Port O’Call in Calgary. If you raise over $1,000 you can get a hoodie. There is lots of different prizes you can get.”

Andrews adds, all the money raised goes towards their organization and feeding local families. She says “yeah we’ve been doing it for many years. We did take a break last year trying to make it a local community event that people can look forward to.”
