Poor road conditions have been listed as a contributing factor by Sylvan Lake RCMP in a fatal collision this morning (April 22nd).
Police are in the preliminary stages of the investigation and they say the two vehicle collision happened shortly before 8am on Highway 20 – between Highway 12 and Township Road 402 – south of Bentley.
According to Sylvan Lake RCMP both drivers were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Mounties say at 29-year-old passenger from Red Deer suffered critical injuries, was taken to hospital and pronounced deceased. No other details were provided about the occupants of the vehicles.
Alberta RCMP pass along condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
