Mavericks Open Round #2 Of RMLL Playoffs Tonight

The Mountain View Mavericks are getting set for the second round of the Rocky Mountain Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League playoffs.

The Mavericks advanced to the Central Division Finals after sweeping the Calgary Chill last weekend.

Mountain View will now take on the Rockyview Silvertips for the division crown.

Both Mountain View and Rockyview had identical (14-5-1) records, but the Tips won 2/3 games against the Mavs this year.

The Silvertips are also hosting this year’s provincial championship tournament.

The Mavericks and the Silvertips will begin their series on Thursday night in Airdrie, before the series turns north up the QE2.

Game #2 between the Rockyview Silvertips and the Mountain View Mavericks will be played at the Innisfail Twin Arena on Saturday afternoon at 4.
