2024 Westerner Days Starts Today

The 2024 edition of Westerner Days gets underway today in Red Deer.

The summer tradition continues this year with a midway, live music, free entertainment and pony chuckwagon races each and every night.

Westerner Park will be open from 11AM to midnight daily during the 5 day event, highlighted with live music by headliners including Dean Ray, Cole Martin, The Sheepdogs and Kim Mitchell.

Tickets are just $10 today as part of an opening day special, general admission is $25 for all other days.

Seniors can enjoy $10 entrance fees on Thursday, while Sunday’s Family Pass Day let’s groups of 6 enter the grounds for just $30.

North American Pony Chuckwagon and Chariot Championship races will happen every night from the grounds, you can catch all of the races live on 96.5 CKFM.

The 2024 edition of Westerner Days runs from today through Sunday.
