Brew up a chat with Olds RCMP members

Olds RCMP are giving residents a chance to sit down with members of the detachment during “Coffee with a Cop,” starting next month.

The first event takes place Thursday, August 29th, and continues on the last Thursday of every month from 10 to 11 a.m. at the McDonald’s on 46th Street in Olds.

It’s a relaxed, informal way to meet local officers, ask questions, or simply have a friendly chat over coffee.

Olds RCMP say via a Facebook post that it’s all about building trust, improving transparency, and strengthening the connection between police and the community.

Sponsored by McDonald’s, everyone is welcome.
