This weekend’s inclement weather has pushed back the annual bull riding event in Trochu to July instead of June.
Jamie Martel, Director with the Trochu & District Agricultural Society, points out that last year they celebrated their 50th anniversary and this will be the 4th edition of their Bull-A-Rama. She says “we’re moving it to July 5th and actually in the afternoon, so they boys can ride at our event and then they can head off to another event for the evening. So it works out for them and us. We actually had 42 signed up to ride at our arena for this event. We are maxing it at 30 because it makes a very long day but, yeah, we are excited when we hear the numbers of who wants to come out.”
The Trochu Bull-A-Rama is a Bull Riders Canada event and it will also include mutton bustin’, a halftime show, food trucks, a beer garden, and more. Gates will open for it at noon on Saturday, July 5th at 239 North Road in Trochu. More details can be found on the Trochu AG Society Facebook page.
