U18 AA Grizzlys suffer pair of losses on Day 2 at provincials

Today was a tough one at provincials in Spruce Grove for the U18 AA Olds Grizzlys.

Olds followed up Thursday’s tournament opening 2-1 victory over the CBHA Rangers with a pair of losses on Friday.

The U18 AA Grizzlys fell 5-1 in the morning to the Strathcona Warriors, and 6-3 in the afternoon to the KC Colts.

The Alberta Elite Hockey League’s provincial championship tournament is continuing for Olds (1-2) on Saturday at 11:45am with the final round robin game versus the host team – the PAC GS Construction Saints.

The AEHL’s U18 AA provincial title game is set for 1pm on Sunday at the Grant Fuhr Arena.
