Motor vehicle collision north of Olds causes power outage: Fortis Alberta

Fortis Alberta crews were working to restore power by 7:30pm to customers impacted by an afternoon outage on Tuesday, September 10th.

According to Fortis Alberta, the outage was caused by a motor vehicle collision north of the Town of Olds at about 4:40pm.

Initially the Fortis Alberta website showed over 1,600 customers in the Olds area were impacted but that number was down to 149 by 5:30pm.
