Mavericks come up short in second game at Founders Cup

The Mountain View Mavericks have a record of 1 and 1 following the first two days of action at the Founders Cup in Hamilton, Ontario.

Day 2 at the National Junior B Lacrosse Championship tournament saw the Mavs fall 14 to 4 to Ontario’s Elora Mohawks. Jace Dolinski had two goals in a losing cause for the Mavericks.

Mountain View had won its opening game on Monday night by the score of 15 to 5 over the Nova Scotia Privateers.

The Mavericks are in Pool B for the 9 team national championship tourney.

They are idle today. Mountain View finishes up the preliminary round at the Founders Cup on Thursday against the Onondaga Redhawks.
