A woman from Sundre was recently arrested by Airdrie RCMP in connection to multiple vehicle thefts.
Mounties say between June 26th and July 1st, they were dispatched to assist with three stolen vehicles. According to police, the suspect also “broke into lockers at a recreational centre in Airdrie” and was then able to take car keys and credit cards. The credit cards were used at several locations in Airdrie for fraudulent purchases.
A landlord and tenant issue on July 1st, led to the dispatch of Airdrie RCMP on an unrelated call and eventually the 32-year-old suspect was located and arrested.
As a result of six separate Airdrie investigations she faces 21 charges. She also had 48 outstanding Alberta warrants and was remanded in custody following a judicial interim hearing.
