The Foothills Cowboy Association season rolls on with a stop in Crossfield for Pete Knight Days this weekend.
The full FCA rodeo performances are slated for Friday evening (June 13th) and Saturday afternoon (June 14th).
Meanwhile, FCA cowboys and cowgirls were in Water Valley last weekend.
Unofficial major event winners from the 2025 Water Valley Stampede included Ben Fogarty from Australia in bareback, Nevada L’hirondelle from Seba Beach in bull riding, Jax Meston from Tees in saddle bronc, Tory Towers from Red Deer County in ladies barrel racing, Austin Young from Elk Point in steer wrestling, and Bree Keith from Clyde in ladies breakaway roping.
Dusty McKean from Cremona and Cody Brett from Silver Valley tied for top spot in tie down roping. They both got the job done in 10.1 seconds.
Other unofficial winners in Water Valley included Jaxon Campbell from Strathmore in novice horse riding, Reese Whitlock from Okotoks in junior steer riding, Daxton Pringle from Caroline in junior bull riding, Shay Brett from Silver Valley in junior barrel racing, and Taydee May Bezjack from Bowden in pee wee barrel racing.
