The Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship began on 96.5 The Ranch on Thursday, June 5th with High River’s Jason Glass jumping out to an early lead.
The first of four days of racing in Bonnyville began with Glass and his Birchcliff Energy Ltd. outfit circling the track in 1:15.26.
Second belonged to Darcy Flad from Bodo, Alberta at 1:15.68 in the Vantage Housing Solutions wagon, third was Chanse Vigen from Calgary at 1:15.70 in his Kudo Energy outfit, and fourth was Logan Gorst from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan at 1:16.32 in the Flashpoint Electric Inc. wagon.
Glass has had the fastest time of the day in three of the first six nights of racing this season.
