A multi vehicle collision has resulted in a pair of casualties, according to Sylvan Lake RCMP.
Mounties say it happened just after 2pm on Monday on Highway 11 at Range Road 35 west of Sylvan Lake.
A 29-year-old woman and a 58-year-old woman were found deceased by emergency responders in one of vehicles. Both women were from Rocky Mountain House.
Police note that two other people from a pick up truck were transported to hospital. They had “non-life-threatening injuries.”
RCMP are continuing to investigate and condolences are being passed along to the family and friends of the deceased.
