A man from Red Deer faces charges following an armed robbery in 2024.
The incident occurred on December 22nd just after 6:30am. Police say a panic alarm went off at a business on Reichley Street in Red Deer.
Mounties say an unknown man had “entered the business with a firearm, pointed it at the worker, and demanded money” before fleeing the area in an SUV,
A 49-year-old Red Deer resident has been arrested following further investigation and he faces three counts of robbery with a firearm, plus three counts of disguise with intent to commit an offence.
After being released on an undertaking with conditions, he has an upcoming court date in Red Deer set for March 31st.
