Chinook’s Edge School Division hopes that its choice for a new Superintendent will earn high marks from its students and staff.
This week, the Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Dr. Ryan Sawula to that role. His tenure with CESD will begin on June 2nd.
According to media release from Chinook’s Edge, Sawula most recently served as the Deputy Superintendent at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools and he has spent over two decades in education with leadership roles at the school and division levels.
Sawula will have big shoes to fill as he will take over for Kurt Sacher. This is Sacher’s 15th year as CESD Superintendent and he is retiring at the end of the current school calendar after a 39 year career in education.
