Light it up with Olds Fashioned Christmas activities on December 7

A community tradition that gets everyone in the holiday spirit and has been around for more than three decades continues this December.
Heather Dixon with the Olds Fashioned Christmas planning committee says it all started in 1993. She adds, it is a season filled with festive events, craft shows, and family friendly activities – all brought to life by the incredible efforts of volunteers, local businesses, schools, and service groups.
Dixon hopes we can make this year bright together at this Saturday’s Christmas Kick Off event in Olds at Centennial Park from 2:30 until 5:30pm. She says “it’s a free event for everyone to enjoy. Then stick around afterwards for the spectacular Santa Claus Parade of Lights through Uptowne Olds starting at 5:30pm.”
The full calendar of events and the parade route details are available online at olds.ca/ofc.
